PRESS RELEASE
Kubota Introduces the XMS1 Sprayer with ISOBUS Technology and iXclean Plus Cleaning System
Nieuw-Vennep, The Netherlands
With the introduction of the iXspray software and hardware on the XMS1 mounted sprayer, Kubota is offering a complete ISOBUS compatible sprayer range with increased user friendliness for the smaller farming segment. The new optional iXclean Plus cleaning functionality ensures that the spraying job is done in an environmental friendly and safe way for the operator, but also with the highest possible accuracy and efficiency.
The XMS sprayer range can be controlled with the K-monitor, IsoMatch Tellus terminals or any other AEF certified tractor terminal. The Kubota mounted sprayer range is being developed for precise, easy and cost effective spraying.
Integrated iXspray hardware and software
The innovative and integrated iXspray hardware and software with intuitive touch interface guarantees a user friendly operation of the XMS1 sprayer. iXspray offers a variety of features to make operation easier, save time and avoid mistakes in a busy working season, for example pre-sets for spray jobs and boom configuration can be configured easily. With the introduction of iXspray it is even possible to use the optional SpotSpray application in combination with the XMS1 for optimal crop protection. With SpotSpray only designated spots are sprayed, which is particularly helpful when targeting weed spots, thistles, wet areas, non-germinated areas and areas with soil problems. With SpotSpray, costs can be saved by reducing the amount of spray liquid used and preventing healthy crops from unnecessary treatment, resulting in less crop damage.
Xclean Plus
iXclean Plus is a simple and easy cleaning solution for the XMS1 mounted sprayer. iXclean Plus works with an electric pump which is connected to the clean water tank, the suction side and to the tank cleaning nozzles on the pressure side. Another advantage for the operator is that iXclean Plus can start from the tractor cab, directly in field, when spraying is finished and the main tank is empty or it can be started during spraying and rest liquid can be diluted in the main tank.
