At the same time, scarcity of resources and climate change will have significant consequences. It is estimated that agriculture is responsible for about 18% of global greenhouse gas emissions.
We believe in the power of collaboration and in our capacity to achieve further milestones such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals and carbon neutrality. We approach these tasks by working with visionaries, scientists and engineers, and engaging with farmers in a constant interchange of ideas. We have set up innovation centres around the world and entered into partnerships with leading technology companies.

17 goals to transform our world
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in 2015 established 17 goals for a better world, to be achieved by 2030. We believe that our vision for the future is in line with the SDGs. Kubota’s corporate principles aim to support the prosperity of people and protect the environment of this beautiful earth.
