Kubota proudly presents the top-of-the-range rotary hoe, inter-row cultivators and guidance interfaces within the Kubota agri implements portfolio. These products perfectly complement the high quality Kubota offering and are well-suited for the future of sustainable farming, enabling customers to achieve efficient, accurate and consistent cultivation and weed control.

In addition to a safe food production, the protection of the environment has become a key topic for farmers. Recent regulations, rules and policies have defined new standards and reduced the kinds of pesticides allowed. Thus, mechanical weeding has become one of the answers for the farmers to meet these standards, ensuring, at the same time, healthy plant growth as the basis for a successful yield.

Kubota Inter-row Cultivator IC ensures utmost precision for efficient weeding. The Guidance Interface GI adds extra flexibility and accuracy, keeping the machine on track, protecting the crop.

The Kubota IC series with working width from 3 to 12m is designed for high performance and precision. Fitted with the double H-shaped frame, the IC series offers maximum rigidity and adaptability, even down to a row width of 12.5cm. The X-control system ensures consistent working depth across the entire width, delivering optimal results in row crops and cereals. Furthermore, the flat-bed weeding creates an isolating layer to preserve soil moisture within the seed layer and increase nutrient availability.

For utmost accuracy and to reduce human errors, also with wider implements and when working in challenging geography on slopes, the inter-row cultivator IC can be combined with the Guidance Interface GI series. The GI series features automatic lateral movement of up to 25cm on each side, ensuring precise weeding. Equipped with a HR colorimetric analysis camera, the GI series keeps the machine on track to protect plants. An optional crop feeler for working in developed crops and LED lights for improved visibility in low-light conditions.

The Kubota rotary hoe, RH series fits perfectly for the future of sustainable farming and enables the customers to achieve efficient, accurate and consistent cultivation and weed control. Available in working widths from 3m rigid to 6.4m folding models, the RH series features cast-iron, ground-driven star wheels with a unique back-of-spoon design. These ensure excellent performance at higher but also at low working speeds in different conditions. Curved upwards, they work without digging by gravity. Weeds are lifted with no splashes or projections thus reducing the impact on the crop. The field of application can be from pre-emergence up to a certain height depending on crop, speed, configuration and adjustment.

The Kubota mechanical weeding product range will be fully available with the new price-list from 1st September 2024.
