Kubota introduces new rear-discharge deck for the Z4-541 model
London, UK
A 54-inch rear-discharge mower will be added to the Kubota zero-turn line-up, aligning with current industry demands
With increasing demand for rear-discharge zero-turn mowers, Kubota has responded by introducing the Z4-541 rear-discharge model. This design eliminates the need for the wider side chute found in traditional models, making it ideal for manoeuvring around obstacles and maintaining a clear line of sight for the next pass.
The 360-degree turning capability enables effortless navigation around tight spaces, while the machine’s low centre of gravity and wide-profile drive wheels ensure exceptional stability and balance, even on uneven terrain.
Meeting the European requirements is a must, the Z4-541 features a large, durable 54″ steel-fabricated deck with a 3-blade rear discharge system designed for enhanced performance and cut quality. It also includes quick-dial height adjustment and K-lift deck operation for easy deck raising and lowering. Kubota has filed three patents for innovations in this deck, including a new single-bolt locking belt and pulley cover for efficient maintenance.
The Z4-541 RD is an excellent choice for many professional users and demanding residential customers, primarily due to its high-quality finish and ease of transportation from site to site.
Performance
The Z4-541 is powered by a Kawasaki V FS730-V petrol engine that produces 24hp/17.9 kW. The V-twin engine design allows the machine to run more quietly and smoothly, with fewer vibrations compared to most traditional single-cylinder engines. A rear „wrap-around“ bumper provides added protection, and the standard rear towing hitch is ideal for light trailers.
Designed for large areas, this machine offers maximum efficiency whether you’re handling expansive residential gardens or demanding commercial landscapes.
Maintenance
The Z4-541 embodies Kubota’s commitment to ease of maintenance. The maintenance lift kit is a standout feature, allowing the front of the machine to be easily raised for convenient access to the mower deck, simplifying cleaning and blade replacement.
